Who is eligible for GREEN-STEM Project Scholarship?
Women, who are nationals and residents in African countries from one of the participating partners. Women, who are nationals and residents from the two additional universities in the Afretec Network i.e. Carnegie Mellon University Africa and American University of Cairo.
Who is a Target Group-I (TGI)/Target Group II (TGII) Applicant?
TGI- Women, who are Nationals/citizens of and residents in an African country, registered/admitted in or having obtained a degree from one of the African partners TGII- Women, who are National/citizens and residents of an African country are either enrolled or have earned a degree from the two additional universities in the[…..]
Can a student outside the GREEN-STEM consortium apply for a Scholarship?
Yes, they can apply as Target Group II (TG2) students, i.e. Women, who are National/citizens and residents of an African country are either enrolled or have earned a degree from the two additional universities in the Afretec Network, i.e Carnegie Mellon University Africa and American University of Cairo
What are the primary challenges addressed by the GREEN-STEM Project?
The project addresses challenges such as low development, inadequate Higher Education systems, youth unemployment, and carbonized economies by empowering African universities to lead sustainable development through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
