GREEN-STEM scholarships will empower up to 92 young talents, students and staff to experience an intra-Africa mobility in the partner institution from short to long term:

CALL IS RE-OPEN NOW TO WOMEN FOR FULL PROGRAMS IN ONE OF THE GREEN-STEM PARTNER UNIVERSITIES

Select and apply to a program at one of the host university which should be different from the home university (where you are actually student) or from where you have obtained a Bachelor or Master degree.

Each partner University is expected to host 2 PhD grantees and 4 Master grantees
After the program application, prepare and submit your scholarship application on the scholarship page before:

22 months in an eligible Master’s degree program
Monthly allowance: 890€
Application fees, visa and insurance contribution
Travel costs are at the grantee expenses
Tuition fees are waived for the grantees

4 MSc scholarships per partner are expected

36 months in an eligible Doctoral Degree program
Monthly allowance: 1230€
Application fees, visa and insurance contribution
Travel costs are at the grantee expenses
Tuition fees are waived for the grantees

2 PhD scholarships per partner are expected

 

ELIGIBILITY

-This call is only open to Women

-Target Group 1: Women of African nationality and resident in an African country, registered/admitted in or having obtained a degree from one of the GREEN-STEM African partners: University of Nairobi, University of Rwanda, University of Lagos and University of the Witswatersand

-Target Group 2: For GREEN-STEM, TG2 is restricted to women of African nationality and resident in an African country, registered/admitted in or having obtained a degree from Carnegie Mellon University Africa (Rwanda) and American University of Cairo (Egypt), members of AFRETEC network.

-Women with specific needs or assistance are welcome and will be supported during their mobility.

CREDIT SEEKING/SHORT TERM SCHOLARSHIP CONDITIONS

5 month Master’s exchange:
Monthly allowance: 890€
Visa and insurance contribution

6 month PhD’s research stay:
Monthly allowance: 1230€
Visa and insurance contribution
Travel costs are at the grantee expenses

3 month Bachelor traineeships:

-Target Group 1: Men and Women of African nationality and resident in an African country, being registered in one of the GREEN-STEM African universities

-People in disability are welcome and will be specifically supported during their mobility

STAFF EXCHANGE

monthly allowance: 2370€
Visa and insurance contribution
Travel costs are at the grantee expenses

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates MUST be staff from one of the GREEN-STEM African universities.
